Arizona Basketball Academy Clinics

Arizona Basketball Academy offers FREE one day basketball clinics. The location of the weekend clinics change each month in order to be more easily accessible to the youth! Monthly clinics are limited to 50 kids so register early to ensure a space!

The Blair Charity Group’s signature program, Arizona Basketball Academy, promotes the social and physical well being of youth ages 9-18. ABA runs week-long camps and a series of monthly clinics across Southern Arizona. ABA goes beyond the court by focusing on leadership and life skills. 2017 is the 17th year that ABA has been offered FREE of charge, serving over 1,000 youth annually!

Our professional coaches strive to create an environment that promotes individual risk taking and personal growth. Our professional coaching staff rivals that of programs costing thousands of dollars to attend.

ABA coaching staff included UofA players: Gabe York, Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Kaleb Tarczewski, Reshea Bristol and Ali Gloyd; and NBA players: Solomon Hill (New Orleans Pelicans) and Derrick Williams (Cleveland Cavaliers).

The camp has a wide range of speakers and activities including:

  • Mayor Bob Walkup: Civil Responsibility
  • Councilman Paul Cunningham: Scholarship Opportunities
  • Jim Rosborough: Attention to Details
  • Joseph Blair: Service to the Community

I’m writing to let you know how grateful we are for Joseph Blair hosting basketball camps. He and his staff have been so helpful and have taught my daughter a lot these past few months. She’s attended quite a few of the camps and I have to say everyone there is patient and very nice with the children. Lunch is even provided for the children! Through the camps my daughter has learned not only better techniques but also has a new boost of confidence. Just want to thank you JB for all that you do for our community. – Rachel Ramirez, “Basketball Mom”
